PLAIN DOSE/ DOSA

        Ingredients:

  • Raw rice – sona masoori – 4 cups
  • Black Gram (Urad dal, deskinned) – 1 cup
  • Beaten rice ( poha) – 1 cup
  • Fenugreek seeds – 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt as required
  • Oil for roasting dose/dosa

        PROCEDURE:

  • Soak rice, dal and fenugreek seeds for 6 – 8 hours
  • Soak beaten rice for 15 minutes just before grinding
  • Grind everything together including salt
  • Keep it over night for fermenting
  • Next morning Heat tawa and pour the batter  and make dose/dosa
  • Sprinkle 1/2 tsp oil
  • Flip & roast on the other side also
