QUICK GROUNDNUT SWEET PARATHA / KADALEBEEJA HOLIGE

Another way of using more groundnut in this cold season. Its super easy and quick to make. It can be served for breakfast with any other spicy dish or can be served with lunch as sweet dish. With very few ingredients it is really a great dish to relish.

 

        Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour – 1&1/2 cup
  • Salt – 2 pinches
  • Groundnut – 1&1/2 cup
  • Jaggery – 1 cup
  • Nutmeg – 1 tsp
  • Ghee – to fry chapati

 

         PROCEDURE:

  • Mix wheat flour and salt and knead into stiff dough using water
  • Roast peanuts till little brown and remove the skin
  • Powder together roasted groundnut, jaggery and nutmeg
  • Make equal portions of both dough and groundnut mix
  • Flatten one portion of dough a little and place a portion of groundnut mix and roll into chapati
  • Cook both sides of chapati on heated tawa using little ghee
  • Serve hot
