This recipe has earlier tried by my son using Maida, it was yummy, Original recipe was also with Maida, but I wanted to make it more healthier version, so this time I tried it using whole wheat flour, It came out equally yummy and delicious. Slowly I’m getting used to baking. This recipe is very simple with few ingredients.




        Ingredients :

  • Whole wheat flour – 1 cup
  • Melted Butter – 3/4 cup or 8 tbsp or 115 gms
  • Powdered sugar – 3/4 cup ( I used brown sugar )
  • Baking Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Cocoa Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Milk – 1 to 2 tbsp ( 1&1/2 tbsp was sufficient for me )
  • Choco chips – 1/4 cup plus 2-3 tbsp for sprinkling on the top of the biscuit


        PROCEDURE :

  • Preheat the oven at 180 degree C at Convection mode
  • Beat butter and sugar until creamy
  • Sieve flour, Cocoa Powder and baking powder in a bowl
  • Mix all the ingredients together and knead a soft dough
  • Take a portion of the dough and make it to the desired shape     OR
  • Roll the dough and cut into cookies with the help of biscuit cutter, sprinkle choco chips and press a little
  • Place cookies on low rack and bake at 180 degree C at convection mode for 15 – 20 minutes or till tester comes out clean
  • Serve with Tea/Coffee
