CURRY LEAVES BUTTERMILK

A yummy … natural cool drink made from curd and spices such as cumin, curry leaves, ginger, Mint etc. When It comes to buttermilk, I definitely like to say that I never make masala buttermilk..  ie…. no green chilli  it is always with rock salt. Buttermilk is packed with numerous health benefits and perfect to sooth the stomach. It is good for digestion, dehydration, energy boosting, reduces high blood pressure etc. Buttermilk is a great source of Vitamins, Calcium etc.They say it helps even in lowering high cholesterol and good for acidity. Here I’m going to share buttermilk made using lot of curry leaves.

     Ingredients :

  • Curd – 1 cup
  • Curry leaves ( chopped ) – 4 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves ( chopped ) – 1 tbsp
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Rock salt – as needed

     PROCEDURE :

  • Grind together Curry leaves, coriander leaves and salt
  • Add curd and water and blend it again
  • Add more water if you want to make it thin
  • Serve
