CARROT-ALMOND MILK SHAKE

One more summer cooler in a healthy way. Very easy to prepare and can be served in anytime of the day or after breakfast. During summer I always prepare this using chilled milk … so never use ice cubes. Where as in winters we can use warm milk , suitable for the weather. It contains all the healthy ingredients .. so people of any age group can drink this

 

 

 

 

        Ingredients :

  • Carrot – 1 medium sized, chopped or grated
  • Milk – 1&1/2 cup (chilled)
  • Water – 1&1/2 cup
  • Fig ( anjeer ) – 4 nos.,
  • Almond – 15 nos.,
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp ( I use sugar free Natura )

 

        PROCEDURE :

  • Cook chopped or grated carrot in water with figs till soft and let it cool completely
  • Then put everything except milk in the mixie jar and churn it
  • Add Milk and run the mixie once or twice
  • Transfer to the glasses and serve
  • Ice cubes can be added ( Optional )
