INSTANT MANGO PICKLE

This is one more method of making raw mango pickle instantly, using regular raw mango ( pickle mango ). Generally this method of mango pickle is made in big functions like marriage and all. Tastes yummy though made instantly.

 

 

 

        Ingredients :

  • Raw mango – 1 big
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 4 tsp or according to spice level / depending on the sourness of mango
  • Roasted Fenugreek seeds powder – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 to 1&1/2 tbsp or according to taste / depending on the sourness of mango

 

        For Tempering :

  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Urad dal (uddina bele) – 1 tbsp
  • Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
  • Red chillies – 2 nos.,
  • Curry leaves – few

 

 

        PROCEDURE :

  • Wash, wipe well and finely chop raw mango
  • Add Turmeric powder, red chilli powder, fenugreek powder and salt
  • Mix it really well and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes
  • Prepare tempering using all the ingredients under the heading “for tempering”
  • Pour it on the mango mixture, combine everything well
  • Instant mango pickle is ready to serve
