Pulao is one of the most common rice preparation that is often made at home. I don’t think anyone has used raw Jackfruit while making Pulao, It just strike my mind and thought why don’t I try making it … and it was a huge hit. Believe me Jackfruit tastes awesome as it absorbs all the tastes like spices, herbs, salt etc in the pulao. The pulao also has the goodness of Broccoli, which adds a crunchy taste to it. Just to make it different, I have added onions which are cut into cubes, which enhances the overall taste. It’s a simple, quick, tasty, spicy Pulao using Jackfruit as well as other vegetables, accompanied with simple raita.
