INSTANT WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR DOSAY/DOSA

As the name itself indicates, I use whole wheat flour ( I personally get it done in the mill ) to make this yummy dosay/dosa. This is an instant, quick and easy recipe which can be made at any time of the day. If you are a diabetic patient and bored of eating same regular chapati/pulka/roti etc … then this is a fantastic alternate to fill your stomach in a healthy way. Most of the times I make this dosay with Curry leaves chutney only.

 

 

        Ingredients :

  • whole wheat flour – 1 cup
  • Rice flour – 1 tbsp
  • Ghee – 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water to make the batter
  • Oil to roast dosay

 

       PROCEDURE :

  • In a container add ghee and rice flour and rub well so that it becomes soft like butter
  • To that, add whole wheat flour and salt… mix everything well
  • Now slowly add water little at a time while mixing the flour & Make a batter of dosay consistency, without any lumps
  • Heat the tawa , pour a laddle full of batter and spread it thinly, smear little oil, cook on both the sides
  • Serve hot with any chutney
