CORIANDER/HARA DHANIYA – AMLA / KOTTAMBARI SOPPU-BETTADA NELLIKAYI CHUTNEY

Yet another combination of Coriander leaves + Indian gooseberry chutney. This one is also full of healthy ingredients and tastes yum yum. In this type no need to roast anything, just gather everything and grind… that’s it.  In this way we can see to it that we consume Amla everyday… and why not when it is good for skin, hair loss, weight loss etc etc.

 

     Ingredients :

  • Grated Amla – 1 cup (obtained out of 2 to 3 big Amla)
  • Grated fresh coconut _ 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves – 1 cup
  • Green chilli – 6 to 8 or according to taste
  • Jaggery – 1/2 tbsp
  • Hing – 1/8 tsp
  • Salt to taste

    For tempering :

  • Oil – 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp

    PROCEDURE :

  • Take everything together in a mixie jar and grind into a coarse paste (if needed only, add little water ie… less than 1/4 cup)
  • Prepare tempering and pour over the chutney
  • Coriander-Amla chutney is ready to serve
