KHARABATH/UPPITTU MASALA POWDER

Posted in : HOME MADE SPICE POWDER/MASALA POWDER/KARNATAKA STYLE PUDIGALU on by : Divya Suresh Tags:

Kharabath is the most popular breakfast in Karnataka. Kharabath is nothing but making Upma by adding a special kind of masala powder. That’s how it tastes different from regular plain Upma. Actully in hotels in Karnataka it is served as ” Chow Chow bath ” along with a scoop of Kesari bath and fresh coconut chutney. Very small amount of this masala powder is used to add in the Upma, so I’m going to share the masala powder ingredients in small quantities. You can make and store it so that it can be used when necessary.
