Simple yet flavorful rice dish with minimum vegetables and and less time consumption. You can make this pulao when you are not in mood to cook, when you are running out of time, there are no many vegetables in stock etc etc. Today I served this pulao with unde huli/sandige huli/dumplings curry.

  • Cinnamon – 1 inch stick
  • Cloves – 4 to 6
  • Mint/Pudina leaves – 1/4 cup

PROCEDURE :

  • Slice the onion and half portion of the tomato, rinse the rice, drain all the water and keep it aside
  • Heat oil in a cooker, add in chopped onion, tomato and 1/2 cup of fresh green peas and saute well
