POTATO FERMENTED PANCAKE| ALOO DOSA| ALOOGEDDE DOSAY|DOSA|

What an idea! making dosa/dosay using a potato. I learnt this from a TV cookery show. This is an instant one I can say as it can be made immediately after one or two hours of soaking. Once in a while, we can definitely make this and it tastes different also.

Ingredients : measuring cup used – 250 ml
- Rice -1&1/2 cups
- Fenugreek seeds – 1 tbsp
- Potato – 1 big (boiled)
- Onion – 1/2 cup (chopped)
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Green chilli – 2 or according to the taste
- Ginger – 1/2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil to roast dosa/dosay
PROCEDURE :
- Soak rice and fenugreek seeds for 1 to 2 hours in enough water
- Drain all the water and grind rice, fenugreek seeds and boiled potato adding little water and transfer to a container
- In the same jar add green chilli, onion, ginger and grind to a fine paste
- Combine both ground paste, salt and cumin seeds together well
- Make dosa/dosay smearing little oil on it
- Serve hot with any chutney of your choice
