Posted in : BREAKFAST RECIPES on by : Divya Suresh
Call it by any name …Huggi (Kannada) or Pongal (Tamil) or Khichdi (Hindi) …it’s a super nutritious and yummy filling food to eat at any time. However it’s been prepared ie…be it with Rava or Beaten rice or rice or Millet … it tastes awesome. If you are also adding vegetables to it then… it’s like Ā Icing on the cake or sone pe suhaaga !! We all at home very much like this sober yet healthy food. Very much suitable & appropriate dish to eat during winter. I personally like this dish in all the combinations. I have already shared huggi/khara Pongal/KhichdiĀ recipe using Rice and moong dal andĀ semolina/rava/rave huggi/Pongal… so gladly sharing my method of making Beaten rice/Poha Huggi or Pongal or khichdi.
