SWEET POTATO/SIHI GENASINA AKKI(RICE) ROTTI
Posted in : BREAKFAST RECIPES, FLAT BREADS| ROTTI| THALIPEET on by : Divya Suresh
Yet another winter special akki rotti/rice roti recipe, which can be served at breakfast time or for lunch. We can have it with any kind of curry/raita/chutney, but chutney goes best with this rotti. As I said in my earlier post ie… sweet potato paratha, While I boiled sweet potatoes as stuffing for paratha, I also thought of making rice rotti with the same stuffing. So divided the stuffing into two parts and made paratha as well as akki rotti/rice roti. And both the paratha & rotti tasted really yummy. So made it at the same time, on the same day, we all had one paratha and one rotti together, but posting them here separately. The below mentioned quantity of ingredients makes 4 nos., of rotti.
