POHA/RICE FLAKES/AVALAKKI KHARA BATH

Avalakki khara bath…. as in rava/semolina/sooji/rave khara bath !!!! Why I named this dish so because… I have made our regular oggarane avalakki/rice flakes or Kanda poha differently in a new approach by using/adding the https://tinditirtha.com/2017/04/07/kharabathuppittu-masala-powder/  or https://tinditirtha.com/2015/10/10/vangibath-powder-palyada-pudi/ , actually I learnt about this recipe from Manoj – my first son, ie…. this dish is actually his innovation, I just made some small changes – that’s it.

I insist, do definitely try this recipe, as it is so yummy. It is a spicy and nutty tasty preparation, an another interesting way of consuming rice flakes/Poha/avalakki all together in a different taste

The new thing I have adopted, specially during this winter season is – I’m trying to include sesame seeds everyday in all the possible dishes, so that we could get all the benefits from this tiny seed in this chilling weather.

Ingredients : measuring cup used – 250 ml

  • Reduce the heat, make a little space in the centre of the pan, add in water (1/4 cup), turmeric powder, palyada pudi/Kharabath powder and mix well while stirring it
