Paneer Curry and Beetroot carrot stir fry |

 Ingredients :

  • Paneer – around 250 gms
  • Ghee – 1 tbsp
  • Cloves – 3 or 4
  • Cinnamon – 1/2 ” stick
  • Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger – 1/2 tbsp
  • Green chilli – 2
  • Almonds – 10 to 12
  • Poppy seeds – 1&1/2 tsp
  • Tomato – 2 big
  • Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp or to taste
  • Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Fresh methi leaves or Kasuri methi – 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste

 PROCEDURE :

  • Heat 1/2 tbsp ghee add cloves, cinnamon,black pepper, ginger, green chilli, almonds, poppy seeds and chopped tomato and saute well till raw smell goes
  • Now add red chilli powder and turmeric powder, mix well, remove from the fire and let it cool and then grind it into a fine paste
  • Heat remaining 1/2 tbsp ghee, add cumin seeds and when it splutter add fresh methi or kasuri methi, ground paste and stir it for a while
  • Then add Paneer cubes, mix everything well, put salt, sugar, and coriander leaves
  • Combine everything well and remove from the heat and Serve
