Apt one pot meal for the current on going situation ! a spicy dish which includes all the healthier ingredients which boosts our immunity and keeps us away from getting cold, cough etc.

Ingredients : measuring cup used – 250 ml, serves – 3
- Broken wheat/dalia/godhi nuchhu – 1/2 cup
- Yellow lentil/moong dal/hesarubele – 1/4 cup
- Ghee – 1/2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 tbsp
- Green chili – 1 tsp
- Ginger – 1 tsp
- Raw turmeric – 1 tsp (tightly packed)
- Curry leaves – 2 strings
- Sliced capsicum – 1/2 cup
- Sliced tomato – 1/2 cup
- French beans – 1/2 cup
- Fresh peas – 1/3 cup
- Carrot – /2 cup
- Palyada pudi/subji masala powder – 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder (kashmiri/byadigi) – 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Boiled water – 2&1/2 cup or adjust depending on the quality of the dalia you use
PROCEDURE :
- Heat ghee in a pressure cooker, one by one put all the herbs, spices, vegetables, rinsed broken wheat & lentil, salt and boiled water, and cook until 1 whistle or as per your cooker’s requirement
- Spicy, yummy broken wheat/dalia/godhi nuchhu khara bath is ready in minutes !
- Serve as such or with any kind of raita
- I have served this along with cucumber raita & mosambi-mango custard, which is sweetened using rock date palm sugar
