This is a protein rich lentil raita which we often relish along with rice during summer. A very simple recipe prepared with a very few ingredients which are always easily found at home

Though this raita can also be served as an accompaniment with any kind of huli + anna (sambar rice), rasam rice, one pot meal, Kalesida anna/Spicy rice, chitranna etc and whatever may be the main rice dish Lentil raita is the best combination.

Besides, this lentil raita can also be served with roti, chapati, Paratha etc along with any other curry. This is one of my most favorite dish to eat mixed along with steaming hot rice.
