I wanted to prepare something using fruits today, to pair with steamed fresh green Peas savory Gujiya . But when I looked at the fruit basket there was only one over ripe banana, one orange (which was sour) and one mango !
And also there were almonds & walnuts in front of me. Walnuts & almonds are high-calorie, high-fat foods, but they are healthy calories and healthy fats. So altogether the outcome is this sweet dish. Its not any new…rare… dish to do, but made it in my own way…so feeling proud!

Ingredients : measuring cup used – 200 ml
- Semolina – 1 cup
- Orange Juice – 1/2 cup
- Mango chopped – 1/4 cup
- Banana chopped – 1/4 cup
- Water – 1 cup
- Sugar – 4 tbsp
- Ghee – 3 tbsp Or according to taste
- Almond – 1/4 cup
- Walnuts – 1/4 cup
- Cardamom powder – one fat pinch
PROCEDURE :
- Heat 1&1/2 tbsp of ghee in a pan and add in almonds, walnuts and semolina, fry till done on slow fire
- Now add in orange juice and water, cover the pan and allow it to cook on low flame
- Once cooked add sugar, mango and banana… stir well and let it cook further until done
- Finally add in cardamom powder, mix everything well
- Fruits & nuts semolina bath is ready to relish
