Sago/Sabudana/Sabbakki butter milk

Yet another type of buttermilk recipe, a cold and refreshing beverage on a hot summer day, flavoured with roasted cumin powder and the main additional ingredient used is sago/sabudana.
Just with a very few ingredients put together like cooked sabudana, salt, cumin and coriander leaves this special buttermilk will be ready.
Ingredients : measuring cup used – 200 ml
- Sago / sabudana – 1/4 cup cooked
- Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Green chilli Paste – 1/4 tsp or less according to taste
- Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
- Curd – 1 cup
- Water – 1&1/2 cup
- Salt to taste
PROCEDURE :
- Take curd and water in a blender jar and blend it
- Now add all the other ingredients except sago/sabudana and just pulse the blender for few seconds
- Transfer it to the container and add cooked sago/sabudana (At this stage you can also add more water if required to make this buttermilk more thin)
- Pour into glasses and it is ready to serve
NOTE : Chilled curd & water can be put OR Ice cubes can be put OR you can also chill the buttermilk in the refrigerator and serve later
