Indian gooseberry/amla coriander leaves chutney

ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ನೆಲ್ಲಿಕಾಯಿ ಕೊತ್ತಂಬರಿ ಸೊಪ್ಪಿನ ಚಟ್ನಿ
Yet another chutney recipe made in the combination of Coriander leaves plus Indian gooseberry. This one is also full of healthy ingredients and tastes yum yum.
In this particular type of chutney, no need to roast anything, just gather everything and grind… that’s it. In this way we could see to it that we consume Amla everyday… and why not when it is good for skin, hair loss, weight loss etc etc.
Ingredients : measuring cup used – 250 ml
- Grated Amla – 1 cup (obtained out of 2 to 3 big Amla)
- Grated fresh coconut _ 1/2 cup
- Coriander leaves – 1 cup
- Green chilli – 6 to 8 or according to taste
- Jaggery – 1/2 tbsp
- Hing – 1/8 tsp
- Salt to taste
For tempering :
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
PROCEDURE :
- Gather everything together in a mixie jar and grind into a coarse paste (if needed only, add little water ie… less than 1/4 cup)
- Prepare tempering and pour over the chutney
- Coriander-Amla chutney is ready to serve
