Also have a look at few recipes which uses raw banana as the main ingredient – raw banana cutlet , raw banana bajji , raw banana Paratha , raw banana matwadi Palya , raw banana Kootu curry

Ingredients : measuring cup used – 250 ml
  • Over ripen bananas – 6 to 7
  • Grated dry coconut – 3 to 4 tbsp
  • White/black sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Whole wheat flour – 2&1/2 cups
  • Flax seeds powder/meal – 1 tbsp
  • Oats flour – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – 3/4 tsp
PROCEDURE :
  • Peel the bananas and mash them using a fork/masher or anything. Put dry coconut, sesame seeds and combine well
  • Put wheat flour, flax meal, oats flour and salt, mix well and knead well into a soft stiff dough. If required, you can put couple of spoons of water to knead the dough, but I haven’t put any water as mashed banana itself was enough to knead the dough
  • Divide the dough into equal portions, roll them one by one by dusting with wheat flour, apply 1/2 tsp of ghee and sprinkle 1/2 tsp of dry wheat flour allover on it, make pleats, then bind into circular shape, roll into a flat disc by dusting with wheat flour
  • Cook on both the sides by smearing little oil on a heated tawa

Serve along with any kind of accompaniment, today I paired this Paratha along with Bitter gourd stir fry
