ಹಸಿ ಶುಂಠಿ ಮೊಸರು ಬಜ್ಜಿ | ಶುಂಠಿ ರಾಯ್ತ |
Ginger raita is also known as digestive raita. It is consumed at the beginning of the meal with a very small quantity of rice, then we proceed with other dishes.
It is said that when we are indulging in a heavy lunch, this helps for better digestion. Generally also we enjoy eating this raita with steaming hot plain rice.
Ingredients : measuring cup used – 250 ml
- Grated ginger – 2 to 3 tbsp
- Ghee – 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
- Curd – 1 cup
- Salt to taste
PROCEDURE :
- Heat ghee, add mustard seeds n when it splutter add grated ginger and saute for one or two minutes
- Take out and let it cool a bit, then add salt and curd
- Mix well and serve
