Whole wheat flour curd chapati/Phulka |

ಗೋಧಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಮೊಸರು ಚಪಾತಿ/ಫುಲ್ಕಾ
Curd chapati/Phulka or dahi chapati/Phulka is a Kind of Indian flat bread made by adding curd while kneading the dough. Only curd is used with whole wheat flour and no water is used while making the dough.
The tenderness of each bite makes your meal more delicious. I have added flax seeds powder, cumin seeds in this recipe, but you can also use coriander leaves, curry leaves, green chilli, red chilli etc to make it more delicious. Also you can replace cumin seeds with carom/ajwain seeds.
I have also added Oats to make it more healthy. I have explained the recipe with step wise pics though it is a very simple and easy flat bread to make. The below mentioned measurement of the ingredients yields 11-12 chapati/Phulka of the shown size.

Ingredients : measuring cup used – 200 ml
- Whole wheat flour – 2&1/2 cups
- Oats – 2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Flax meal/flax seeds powder – 1/2 tbsp
- Curd/dahi (slightly thick) – 1&1/4 cup (adjust)
- Salt – 1 tsp or to taste
- Oil/Ghee to roast the chapati (I haven’t used anything)
PROCEDURE :
- Gather all the ingredients in a bowl/Parath and knead into a soft but stiff dough
- Pinch a portion of the dough and roll into a thin circle
- Heat the tawa and roast the chapati/Phulka on both the sides
- Serve hot with any kind of subji/curry etc
