Today’s brunch platter at our place…. posting it very late. It was a healthy & nutritious combo consisting of many verities such as semolina/rave/sooji poori , Home made lemon pickle , Home made curd chili , sprouted whole green gram khichdi , black eyed beans stock saaru(rasam) , mixed vegetable sagu , black eyed beans salad , Mavina seekarane(aam ras) , Plain rice.

The platter consists of sesame seeds/yellina chutney , instant amla pickle , Onion tangy curry/eerulli gojju, Carrot salad/Kosambari , Fenugreek leaves huli/sambar , Rice, Pomegranate bread rice and radish/mooli paratha

Today’s brunch platter is a fusion of Bangalore region & north Karnataka region dishes. Today I made black eyed beans kattina (stock) saaru in the same method as hurali kattina saaru , I just have replaced black eyed beans/Lobia/alasande kalu with horse gram/hurali/kulthi. Also in the platter is black eyed beans/Lobia/alasande kalu salad , potato-onion curry , capsicum Palya (made in the same method as we make brinjal palya by adding Palyada pudi) , Jowar/jolada rotti & chutney pudi along with ghee

Winter special Platter – Today it’s absolutely winter special dishes for brunch at our place. A very soulful food which is healthy, therapeutic and very much suitable for this cold weather.

The platter consists of Plain rice, menasina saaru (black pepper rasam), hesaru kalu huggi (green gram khichdi), Gujarati sweet kadhi and mavina midi (vadu/tender mango pickle)
