A very easy to make and tasty rice dish with lot of health benefits. I prefer to cook this dish specially during winters as we get fresh & good quality cabbage here in Gurgaon at that time.
Half – cup of cooked cabbage would provide 47 % of your vitamin C needs for the day. Cabbage is low in calories, fat where as high in fiber. As a green leafy vegetable … cabbage has many many more health benefits.
Altogether this rice is a healthy meal and ideal to pack for tiffin box as well. Today as an accompaniment to go with this rice dish, I have served this with beetroot-pomegranate raita. Many a times I pair this rice bath along with lentil raita/bele raita as well.

PROCEDURE :
- Rinse and wash well the rice put 2&1/2 cups of water and pressure cook
