I have posted ragi rotti recipe on my blog long ago, Now its Ragi dosa/dosay. Very simple, easy and healthy version of dosa/dosay. Though this is an instant version, we can also make this dosay by fermenting the batter for 8 to 9 hours or overnight

This quick ragi flour dosa or quick finger millet flour Pancake proves to be helpful on those hectic morning times and also on those days where we do not want to cook elaborate meals etc

Ingredients : measuring cup used – 200 ml

  • Ragi flour – 1 cup
  • Split lack gram/Urad dal – 1/4 cup ( Urad dal powder can also be used)
  • Fenugreek seeds – 1 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Water as needed
  • Oil for roasting dosa

 PROCEDURE :

  • Soak split black gram/Urad dal and fenugreek seeds for an hour in enough water
  • Drain all the water and grind to a fine paste
  • Add Ragi flour and salt to the mixie jar and grind everything again, so that the batter gets combined well
  • Transfer the batter into a container
  • Heat the dosa tawa , Pour a ladle full of batter , spread evenly, smear little oil, flip and roast as well
  • Ragi dosa/dosay is ready to serve
