CUCUMBER MUSTARD CURD CURRY| CUCUMBER/SOUTHEKAYI SASIVE

This raita is specially made as the accompaniment with Bisibelebath , a most favourite rice dish in Karnataka. But now a days this is being paired along with any kind of spiced rice preparation or any kind of stuffed paratha, chapati , roti and rotti as this goes very well with anything.
Ingredients :
- Cucumber – 2 cups ( fine chopped )
- Green chilli – 2 to 4
- Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Grated fresh coconut – 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
PROCEDURE :
- Grind together coconut, mustard seeds, green chillies, turmeric powder adding only 2 or 3 tbsp of chopped cucumber
- Add the ground paste to the remaining chopped cucumber and combine well
- Add salt and curd, mix again and serve
