BEETROOT BUTTERMILK| CHUKANDAR SALT LASSI| BEETROOT NEERU MAJJIGE

Very recently I learnt this from Ms. Bijal Parikh, a co-member in one of the group. I’m always ready to make anything using beetroot, so tried it immediately but with little changes. Sharing the same with you all. A healthy cold beverage. Now this is going to be a regular one at my place during summer. Thanks to her, for this wonderful drink recipe.

Ingredients : measuring cup used – 250 ml
- Beetroot (grated) – 1/2 cup
- Mint leaves – 10
- Curry leaves – 20 ( I used still more)
- Curd – 2 cups
- Water – 1 cup
- Rock salt – according to taste
PROCEDURE :
- Blend/grind together Beetroot, Mint leaves, Curry leaves and salt to a fine paste
- Add curd and water and pulse it again (If you wish, Pass it through a strainer, but I never do)
- Use curd and water according to the desired consistency
- Serve chilled or you can use chilled curd and water to serve immediately
