CORNFLAKES MIXTURE

One of the easiest and healthy savory snack. I have also added walnuts into this snack. Over all usage of almonds, cashews, walnuts, cornflakes and lots of curry leaves… make this mixture/snack a healthier one. As it was made during festival, I could not take the step wise pics, but shall post it soon.

Ingredients :

  • Corn flakes – 4 cups
  • Almonds – 1 cups
  • Cashew nuts – 1/2 cup
  • Walnuts – 3/4 cup
  • Curry leaves – 1/2 cup
  • Dry coconut flakes – 1 cup

Others :

  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp (adjust)
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

PROCEDURE :

  • Heat oil and add in almonds, cashews, walnuts, coconut flakes and curry leaves and roast them well
  • Take cornflakes in a big bowl, add in roasted nuts and immediately add in red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt
  • Mix everything well and cornflakes mixture is ready to relish
