Moolangi mosaru bajji | radish raita |

ಮೂಲಂಗಿ ಮೊಸರು ಬಜ್ಜಿ | ಮೂಲಂಗಿ ರಾಯ್ತ |
One of the easiest yet very tasty and soothing raita recipe, that is very much suitable for hot days during summer season to beat the heat
Today when I wanted to make radish raita, I was actually running out of time, so instead of doing it in detail like – grating it, then add spice, salt etc etc, like I always do….
But I did grind it in the mixie along with the spices and herbs, just added the curds and served it ! so fast! isn’t it ? How – check the recipe below.
Sometimes I put hung curd and some other times I put homemade yogurt, so that everyone at home gets that part of protein required for the day
Ingredients : measuring cup used – 250 ml
- Radish – 1 heaped cup (3 nos., of medium sized)
- Green chilies – 2 to 3
- Coriander leaves – 1/4 cup
- Curry leaves or Mint leaves or both – few
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp or to taste
- Yogurt or hung curd – 1 cup (adjust)
PROCEDURE :
- Peel, wash and dice the radish and put it in the mixie jar

- Also add in green chilies, coriander leaves, curry leaves, mint leaves, turmeric powder and salt to the same jar and grind coarsely

- Transfer to a bowl or small vessel and add home made yogurt or hung curd, mix everything well, your radish raita or moolangi mosaru bajji is ready

Today I have served this raita along with ragi/finger millet rotti & sweet potato – capsicum Palya/subji
