Wow!!!! pickle using a fruit. I was very excited when I prepared it for the first time. The apple which I bought were very sour. So I tried making pickle in the same way in which we do raw mango instant pickle. Its a great accompaniment with anything with yummy taste and goes well with anything.
It can be made in two ways. One – in the below shown method or one more method is , you can put all the spice powders and salt into the chopped apple and combine well, then prepare the tempering using the ingredients listed below the heading “for tempering” and pour it hot on the prepared apple mixture.
Both the ways this pickle tastes yummy and it can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days

- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp (mildly hot)
- Hot red chili powder – 1/4 to 1/2 tsp

- Salt to taste
For tempering :
- Oil – 1/2 tbsp
