Genasina mosaru bajji | Sweet Potato raita |

ಗೆಣಸಿನ ಮೊಸರು ಬಜ್ಜಿ | ಗೆಣಸಿನ ರಾಯ್ತ |
One more type of raita recipe which goes well with any type of roti or can be used as an accompaniment for lunch.
We normally like to eat this raita along with spicy rice flour rotti or just with steaming hot rice, but this sweet potato raita can be consumed as such as well and you can also swap the regular curd with high protein curd
Ingredients : measuring cup used – 250 ml
- Sweet potato – 2 cups
- Hung curd/Yogurt – 1&1/2 cups or as per choice
- Salt – 1 tsp
For tempering :
- Ghee – 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper powder – 1/8 tsp
- Bengal gram – 1/2 tbsp
- Black gram – 1/2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
- Coriander leaves – 1/4 cup
- Whole red chilli – 2 nos.,
PROCEDURE :
- Wash, peel, boil, dice sweet potato and let it cool completely


- Prepare tempering with the ingredients listed below the heading ‘for tempering’, Pour it on the sweet potato and also put hung curd, coriander leaves and salt


- Mix everything well and serve
