SWEET POTATO CURD CURRY| SHAKARKANDI RAITA| SIHI GENASINA RAITA|

One more type of raita which goes well with any type of roti or can be used as an accompaniment for lunch. We normally like to eat this raita along with spicy rice flour rotti or just with steaming hot rice
Ingredients : measuring cup used – 250 ml
- Sweet potato – 1 big (which yields 3/4 cup)
- Curd – 1 cup or as per choice
- Salt to taste
For tempering :
- Ghee – 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
- Bengal gram – 1/2 tbsp
- Black gram – 1&1/2 tsp
- Whole red chilli – 2 to 4 nos.,
PROCEDURE :
- Wash, peel, cut and boil sweet potato and let it cool completely
- Prepare tempering with the ingredients listed below the heading ‘ for tempering ‘
- Add curd and salt to the cooked sweet potato
- Pour the tempering on it and combine everything well and serve
