This one is very quick and healthy to make dessert or sweet recipe, which I would definitely like to make very often from now on.
Of course banana is a healthy fruit but adding Walnuts and Almonds make this halwa even more healthy. We like to eat it when hot, but it tastes equally good when it is cooled.
No need to keep this in the refrigerator, better to make freshly and finish it off. Lets have a look at the ingredients needed and the procedure to follow.
Ingredients : measuring cup used – 200 ml
- Mashed Banana – 1 cup (heaped)
- Walnut – 1/4 cup
- Almond – 1/4 cup
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Sugar – 2 to 2&1/2 tbsp
- Cardamom Powder – 1 fat pinch (Optional)
PROCEDURE :
- Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan add mashed banana and stir for two minutes
- Now add Sugar and stir continuously for two more minutes
- Now It will start to come together… add cardamom powder and mix well
- Heat remaining 1 tbsp ghee fry walnut & almond, Pour this over the banana mixture and combine
- Remove from the heat and Serve hot
