A very healthy, easy to make and delicious multigrain flour dry fruit semolina laddoo recipe, which is very inviting and attracts people of all age group to relish on it

This multigrain flour is a combination of 60% of whole wheat flour and 5% each of Jowar, Ragi, Barley, Chickpeas, Green gram, Oats, Maize and Soya beans apart from dry nuts and fruits, ghee, dry coconut etc which is included in making this laddoo

For sure this is one of the healthiest laddoo recipe one can make for any festival or functions or celebrations. This laddoo can also be made on Gokulashtami or Janmashtami too. Oh by the way you can make these snacks as well on Gokulashtami or Janmashtami Instant rice flour chakkuli/chakli , Sihi mattu kharada avalakki , Karjikayi or Kadubu or Gujiya made in 2 Types

Any kind of liquid ie milk or water or any kind of jaggery syrup is not used in this recipe to make this laddoo. The stickiness in the jaggery and hot ghee being added to slightly hot flour semolina mixture makes it easy to form laddoos

By the way as I’m writing this recipe, I thought of this one more special age old recipe which my mom used to prepare whenever we used to travel to some religious places ie Fried Sihi and Khara Avalakki | Hot and Sweet Chivda | do click on the link and check the recipe and let me know if you make it

Ingredients : measuring cup used – 250 ml

  • Multigrain flour – 1&1/2 cup
  • Chiroti rave or fine grains semolina – 1/2 cup
  • Jaggery powder – 3/4 cup (adjust)
  • Ghee – 4 to 5 tbsp
  • Almonds – 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Pistachios – 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Raisins – 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Grated dry coconut – 1 cup
  • Cardamom powder – 1 tsp

PROCEDURE :

  • In a pan dry roast both multigrain flour and semolina, one by one until aromatic and turns moisture less, then remove on to a bowl or Parath
  • Put jaggery powder and mix well
  • Now heat two tablespoon ghee in the same pan and roast almonds, pistachios and raisins and immediately pour it on the jaggery flour semolina mixture
  • Also put cardamom powder and mix everything really well
  • Now separate small portion of mixture in the parath, put a tablespoon of hot ghee, mix while rubbing with your palm, take a small quantity of mixture from that and shape into a laddoo
  • Once done with that portion, repeat the procedure with the remaining portions of the mixture, here what I mean is bind the laddoo in small portions by adding slightly hot ghee in small quantity at a time
  • Yummy mixed flour semolina dry fruits laddoo is ready, offer to the almighty and relish the prasada with the family
