ಹಸಿ ಕಡಲೇಕಾಳು ಉಸ್ಲಿ | ಹಸಿರು ಕಡಲೇಕಾಳು ಸಲಾಡ್ |
Green chickpeas are young Garbanzo harvested at their peak of freshness and are nutrition packed. They are high in protein and fiber and have low Glycemic index and contains antioxidant vitamins A and C. Green chickpeas are an all natural source of protein and a good source of Iron, Calcium and other minerals for healthy blood and bones. Here in North India, it is available in plenty during winter season. So I’m planning to try many recipes using them. Here is one of such recipes.
Ingredients : measuring cup used – 250 ml
- Boiled green chickpeas – 1 cup
- Chopped cucumber – 1 cup ( I did not peel the skin)
- Boiled & chopped potato – 1 medium sized
- Chopped onion – 1 big
- Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
- Honey – 1/2 tbsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
PROCEDURE:
- Gather all the above mentioned ingredients in a bowl and mix everything well and serve
