- Raisins – 1/4 cup
- Split bengal gram – 1 tbsp
- Powdered Jaggery – 3/4 cup
- Pistachios – 2 tbsp
- Dates – 2 big
- Water – 2 cups
- Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
- Ghee 2 tsp
- Milk – 1/2 cup
PROCEDURE :
- Dry roast cashew nuts, coconut flakes, raisins, split bengal gram, Poppy seeds one by one without burning, remove from the heat, allow it to cool and then dry grind into coarse powder first and then add some water and grind again to a smooth paste
- Add little water to the jaggery powder, heat and let it dissolve completely, then pass it through the strainer to remove the dust particle if any
- Now bring together the ground paste, dissolved jaggery and remaining water in a container/vessel, heat and let it come to boil by stirring continuously on medium low heat.
- Do not forget to stir continuously while keeping on low heat, as it gets burnt at the bottom as it contains more quantity of cashew nuts.
